Vatican Usurper’s Naturalistic Appeal on Venezuela Ignores Christ’s Kingship
“Pope” Leo XIV’s Venezuelan Plea: A Betrayal of Catholic Sovereignty
Catholic News Agency reports (January 4, 2026) that the antipope Robert Prevost (“Leo XIV”) appealed for “respecting Venezuela’s sovereignty” following the U.S. capture of socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro. The Vatican usurper declared from St. Peter’s Square: “The good of the beloved Venezuelan people must prevail above any other consideration,” while urging “paths of justice and peace” through constitutional processes. This modernist plea conspicuously omits the Regnum Christi (Kingship of Christ) as the sole foundation for national legitimacy.
Naturalism Masquerading as Diplomacy
The conciliar sect’s leader employs the language of secular NGOs rather than Catholic shepherds. His call to “respect human and civil rights” springs from the heretical Vatican II declaration Dignitatis Humanae, which Pius IX condemned in the Syllabus of Errors: “Every man is free to embrace and profess that religion which, guided by the light of reason, he shall consider true” (Error 15). True Catholic doctrine holds that states derive legitimacy from submission to Christ’s social reign, not UN charters or constitutions. As Pius XI taught in Quas Primas (1925): “Rulers of states… must fulfill their duty themselves and with their people” to Christ the King.
“With a heart full of concern I follow the evolution of the situation in Venezuela… the good of the beloved Venezuelan people must prevail above any other consideration.”
This statement exemplifies the conciliar sect’s religious indifferentism. By elevating “the good of the people” above doctrinal truth, the antipope echoes Rousseau’s social contract theory. Contrast this with Leo XIII’s Immortale Dei (1885): “States cannot without crime conduct their government as if God did not exist.” Maduro’s socialist regime systematically persecuted Catholics, confiscating churches and imprisoning clergy – facts unmentioned in Prevost’s appeal.
The Silence That Condemns
Three glaring omissions expose the Vatican occupiers’ apostasy:
- No reference to Venezuela’s duty to recognize Christ as King, despite Pius XI establishing the Feast of Christ the King precisely to combat secular nationalism.
- No condemnation of socialism, which the Syllabus denounced as “pests” (Error 64) and Pius XI called “intrinsically perverse” (Divini Redemptoris).
- Appeal to a Marxist-collaborating “saint” – José Gregorio Hernández, canonized by Bergoglio in 2025 despite Hernández’s ties to anti-clerical Venezuelan regimes.
The invocation of “Our Lady of Coromoto” rings hollow when the conciliar sect promotes the false “pneumatological church” condemned in Pius X’s Lamentabili Sane (1907). True Marian devotion requires rejecting Vatican II’s ecuмenism, not invoking Marian titles while pandering to revolutionary regimes.
Theological Bankruptcy of the “Rule of Law” Argument
By urging adherence to Venezuela’s constitution, the antipope embraces the modernist heresy of evolving dogma condemned in Pascendi Dominici Gregis (1907). Maduro’s 1999 constitution – drafted with communist involvement – enshrines abortion and secularism. True Catholic teaching holds that “Lex injusta non est lex” (An unjust law is no law at all) (Augustine, De Libero Arbitrio). Pius IX’s Quanta Cura (1864) explicitly rejected the idea that “the best interest of human society demands that the people be ruled without any regard to religion.”
Angelus or Anti-Angelus?
The very act of delivering this message after the Angelus prayer profanes the devotion. The Angelus commemorates the Incarnation – the foundation of Christ’s kingship over nations. To follow this with ecuмenical platitudes constitutes sacrilegious juxtaposition. As the Council of Trent decreed (Session 22): “No sacrifice may be offered greater than this… offered not only for the sins of the faithful, but also for those of the whole world” – a sacrifice Maduro’s regime persecuted and Prevost’s sect has replaced with its invalid Novus Ordo meal.
The conciliar sect’s Venezuelan policy reveals its essence: a counterfeit church administering worldly placebo sacraments while collaborating with Antichrist’s global revolution. As Our Lord warned: “By their fruits you shall know them” (Matthew 7:20). When counterfeit shepherds defend socialist tyrants while ignoring the Social Reign of Christ the King, they bear the rotten fruit of Vatican II.
