Vatican’s Assault on Marian Doctrine Exposes Conciliar Apostasy
National Catholic Register reports (December 8, 2025) that the International Marian Association Theological Commission (IMATC) has condemned the Vatican doctrinal note Mater Populi Fidelis for diminishing traditional Marian titles like Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces. The conciliar sect’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF), under “Cardinal” Victor Manuel Fernández, claims these titles risk “obscuring Christ’s unique salvific mediation” – a position the IMATC calls Protestant-leaning and contrary to centuries of magisterial teaching. This assault on Marian doctrine reveals the conciliar church’s systematic dismantling of Catholic truth.
Doctrinal Betrayal of Immemorial Catholic Teaching
The DDF’s prohibition against using Co-Redemptrix in “official documents” constitutes heresy against the universal ordinary magisterium. As Pius X decreed in Lamentabili Sane: “The Church listening cooperates in such a way with the Church teaching in defining truths of faith, that the Church teaching should only approve the common opinions of the Church listening” (Prop. 6). The conciliar sect reverses this divine order by suppressing titles sanctified by:
1. Papal usage from Benedict XV (1914) through Pius XII (1958)
2. The 1918 Acta Apostolicae Sedis approving the Marian title “Co-Redemptrix of the Human Race”
3. St. Pius X’s encyclical Ad Diem Illum teaching Mary’s role in “the acquisition of grace”
The conciliar sect’s claim that Marian titles require “repeated explanations” reveals their contempt for Catholic intelligence – as if the Trinity, Transubstantiation, or the Hypostatic Union require less catechesis. This anti-doctrinal stance fulfills Pius IX’s condemnation in the Syllabus of Errors: “Divine revelation is imperfect, and therefore subject to a continual and indefinite progress” (Prop. 5).
Linguistic Subversion of Marian Typology
The DDF document employs linguistic tricks to mask its apostasy:
- Protestantizing language: Reducing Mary’s mediation to mere “intercession” denies her causal participation in distributing graces (St. Alphonsus Liguori, The Glories of Mary)
- Omission as weapon: Ignoring 12 popes who taught Mary’s universal mediation constitutes silent heresy – a Modernist tactic condemned in Pius X’s Pascendi
- Bureaucratic inversion: Claiming titles are “pastorally ambiguous” while promoting pagan idolatry in the Amazon Synod exposes the sect’s true anti-Marian spirit
Theological Contradictions of the Conciliar Sect
Fernández’s department commits three grave theological crimes:
- Denying Mary’s cooperation in objective redemption: Against Pius XII’s Mystici Corporis (1943) which teaches Mary “offered Him on Golgotha to the Eternal Father”
- Rejecting secondary mediation: Contra Leo XIII’s Iucunda Semper (1894): “All graces flow from the great treasury of redemption through Mary”
- Minimizing human merit: Undermining St. Thomas Aquinas’ teaching on meritorious cooperation (ST III, Q48, A1)
The conciliar sect’s claim that Vatican II avoided “Co-Redemptrix” is exposed as fraudulent when Lumen Gentium 58 explicitly affirms the doctrine: “She stood in keeping with the divine plan, suffering grievously with her only-begotten Son, joining herself with His sacrifice in her mother’s heart.”
The Poisonous Fruit of Conciliar Apostasy
This attack on Marian doctrine follows the conciliar sect’s established pattern:
1. 1964: Paul VI’s fabricated title “Mother of the Church” replaces Mediatrix
2. 2018: Bergoglio alters Marian prayers to remove references to Satan
3. 2025: “Leo XIV” completes the demolition by suppressing Co-Redemptrix
As Our Lady warned at La Salette (1846): “Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.” The conciliar sect’s war against Marian truth confirms its apostate nature. True Catholics must heed Pius XI’s warning in Quas Primas: “When once men recognize, both in private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well-ordered discipline, peace and harmony.”
Let the faithful respond with the Church’s perennial cry: Ad Iesum per Mariam – To Jesus through Mary, rejecting all conciliar innovations that diminish her glory. As St. Louis de Montfort prophesied: “In the end, Mary’s Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
