The message praises the building’s “spiritual, historical and social richness” while announcing liturgical events, an art exhibition featuring El Greco and Velázquez, and a 2026-2027 “Jubilee Year.” The counterfeit pontiff claims this celebration will foster “grace, forgiveness, mercy and gratitude,” particularly emphasizing the cathedral’s Hispanic heritage and social outreach programs.
Naturalistic Reduction of Sacred Space
The conciliar sect reduces the cathedral from domus Dei et porta caeli (house of God and gate of heaven) to a museum complex, stating it offers “a unique, shared experience, open to the whole Church and to the world.” This sacrilegious equivalence treats the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as one cultural activity among others, violating the Council of Trent’s condemnation of those who “assert that the ceremonies, vestments, and outward signs which the Catholic Church uses in the celebration of Masses, are incentives to impiety rather than stimulants to piety” (Session 22, Canon 7).
