Neo-Church Pilgrimage to St. Charbel Exposes Naturalistic Substitution of Supernatural Mission
EWTN News, the flagship media organ of the conciliar sect, reports on a “prayer walk” scheduled for September 26, 2026, from Byblos to the shrine of St. Charbel in Annaya, Lebanon. The initiative, organized by Anthony Jarjour, a native of the border village of Rmeich, is framed as an act of “solidarity and hope” for Christians remaining in the war-torn south. The pilgrimage enjoys the cooperation of the Monastery of St. Maron, local municipalities, the Lebanese Civil Defense, and the Red Cross. Jarjour, a volunteer with Caritas and the Red Cross, explicitly seeks to add a “spiritual dimension” to his humanitarian service. The piece, originally published by ACI MENA (EWTN’s Arabic service), betrays a total reduction of the Church’s mission to temporal humanitarianism and naturalistic patriotism, utterly devoid of the social reign of Christ the King (Quas Primas) and the absolute necessity of the Unbloody Sacrifice of Calvary for the salvation of souls.
