Hamburg Archdiocese Imposes Gender Ideology While Vatican Feigns Opposition

The EWTN News portal reports that the so-called Dicastery for Culture and Education of the conciliar sect has sent a letter to parents in the Archdiocese of Hamburg confirming that the 2019 document Male and Female He Created Them remains the “authoritative guide” for sex education, even as the local hierarchy under “Archbishop” Stefan Heße presses forward with the implementation of a framework explicitly titled Male, Female, Diverse, which adopts the core tenets of gender ideology. The parents’ network identified twenty contradictions between the Roman document and the Hamburg framework, yet the Roman response studiously avoids condemning the latter by name, exposing the systemic duplicity of the post-conciliar structure. This farce demonstrates that the conciliar sect is incapable of defending the faith, because it has long since abandoned the regula fidei for the novitas of the world.

The Tyranny of Relativism Enthroned in the Classroom

The Hamburg framework, authored by the “Vicar General” “Father” Sascha-Philipp Geißler and inspired by the sexologist Uwe Sielert, defines sexuality as “general life energy” and declares that “Biological sex does not necessarily have to correspond to social identity.” It further asserts the school’s role to “stand on the children’s side” against parents who object. This is not education; it is corruptio optimi pessima — the corruption of the best into the worst. It is the direct application of the condemned proposition that “the civil power may interfere in matters relating to religion, morality and spiritual government” (Syllabus of Errors, 44), and that “Catholics may approve of the system of educating youth unconnected with Catholic faith” (ibid., 48). The framework is a manifesto of the philosophia perennis inverted: nature is denied, the Creator is dethroned, and the child is delivered to the Moloch of autonomous “identity.”

The Hollow Echo of a Modernist Document

The parents appeal to the 2019 document Male and Female He Created Them as a bulwark. But that document itself is a product of the conciliar revolution, steeped in the personalist phenomenology that substitutes the lived experience of the subject for the objective reality of creation. It speaks of “gender theory” as a “cultural challenge” rather than condemning it as a doctrina daemoniorum (1 Tim 4:1). It dialoguizes where it must anathematize. As St. Pius X teaches in Lamentabili sane exitu, the Modernist “pursuit of novelty… leads to deplorable consequences, abandoning all restraint” and aims “at such a development of dogmas as appears to be their corruption.” The 2019 text is not a defense of truth but a managed retreat, conceding the terminology of the enemy (“gender,” “sexual orientation”) while mouthing platitudes about “complementarity.” It is the via media of the Laodicean spirit: “Because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth” (Apoc 3:16).

The Roman Letter: Bureaucratic Evasion as Pastoral Strategy

The letter from “Monsignor” Matthias Ambros, undersecretary of the so-called Dicastery, dated July 6, 2026, confirms the 2019 document but “does not explicitly mention the framework the Archdiocese of Hamburg wants Catholic schools to use. In fact, the dicastery did not comment on the substance of the parents’ objections at all.” This is the modus operandi of the conciliar sect: non liquet — it is not clear. They issue responsa ad dubia that resolve nothing, preserving the unity of the sect at the expense of the faith. This silence is not prudence; it is complicity. As Pope Pius XI declared in Quas Primas: “When God and Jesus Christ were removed from laws and states… the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” The Roman curia of the neo-church has no authority because it derives its mandate not from Christ the King but from the spiritus saeculi. It cannot condemn the Hamburg framework because the framework is the logical fruit of the principles enshrined in Gaudium et Spes, Dignitatis Humanae, and the entire conciliar corpus.

Usurped Authority and the Vacant See

“Archbishop” Stefan Heße, “Father” Geißler, and the “Dicastery” all operate under the authority of the usurper “Pope” Leo XIV (Robert Prevost), the latest in the line of antipopes beginning with John XXIII. As St. Robert Bellarmine teaches, “A Pope who is a manifest heretic, by that very fact ceases to be Pope and head” (De Romano Pontifice). The manifest heresy of the conciliar “popes” — religious liberty, ecumenism, collegiality, the new mass — constitutes ipso facto loss of office (Canon 188.4, 1917 Code). Therefore, Heße has no jurisdiction, Geißler has no mission, and the “Dicastery” has no teaching authority. They are “blind guides” (Matt 15:14) leading the blind into the pit of gender ideology. The parents’ plea to Heße to “withdraw the framework” is an appeal to a de facto official of a de facto structure that has no power to bind in conscience. Ubi Petrus, ibi Ecclesia — but Peter is not in the Vatican occupied by the sect.

The Kingship of Christ Over Education

Pius XI in Quas Primas establishes that “Christ received from the Father unlimited right over all that is created, so that all is subject to His will.” This includes the education of youth. The Syllabus of Errors condemns the proposition that “The entire government of public schools… may and ought to appertain to the civil power” (45) and that “Catholics may approve of the system of educating youth unconnected with Catholic faith” (48). The Hamburg framework is the realization of these condemned errors: it places the child under the tutelage of the State’s ideology (gender theory), severs education from the depositum fidei, and makes the school an agent of the civitas terrena against the civitas Dei. The “Vatican” letter, by refusing to enforce the 2019 document against the framework, abdicates the munus docendi of Christ the King. It renders to Caesar what belongs to God.

The Parents’ Resistance: A Flicker of the Sensus Fidei in the Desert

The Parents’ Network for Child Protection and Prevention deserves credit for identifying the contradictions and appealing to Rome. Their spokeswoman, Varinia Arauco Vera, rightly says: “This is not merely a matter of defending our children and families but also of standing up for the teaching of our Church and remaining faithful to what it itself proclaims.” Yet they still address Heße as “Archbishop” and the Roman curia as authoritative. They operate within the paradigm of the sect, seeking justice from those who have institutionalized injustice. True fidelity requires recognizing that the Ecclesia docens has been eclipsed in the visible structures, and that the Ecclesia discens must now cling to the Traditio transmitted by valid bishops and priests outside the conciliar structures. As Bellarmine notes regarding Nestorius: “He who has departed from the faith… cannot depose or remove anyone.” The Hamburg “archbishop” has departed from the faith; his mandates are nulla et irrita.

Conclusion: The Abomination of Desolation in the Holy Place

The Hamburg framework is the abominatio desolationis (Matt 24:15) standing in the holy place of Catholic education. The Roman response is the fumus Satanae (Paul VI) entering the sanctuary through the cracks of compromise. There is no remedy within the conciliar sect. The only path is exitus — withdrawal from the sect’s schools, its “sacraments,” its false hierarchy — and adherence to the Traditio Catholica integra preserved by those who hold the sede vacante truth. “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters” (Matt 12:30). The Hamburg “archdiocese” scatters; the Roman curia watches; the parents plead. Kyrie eleison.
