This constellation of initiatives reveals the conciliar sect’s total substitution of the supernatural order for a naturalistic, therapeutic, and commercial enterprise.
The Therapeutic State Replaces the Kingdom of Christ
The Phoenix initiative epitomizes the apostasy of the conciliar sect. “Bishop” John Dolan declares: “This work is ultimately about accompanying people and helping them recognize they are cherished, made in God’s image and likeness — and that can never be annulled — and they are not alone.” Not a word of sin, grace, repentance, the Cross, or eternal salvation. The “Photina Center for Catholic Counseling” and “Nazareth Seminary” are placed under the patronage of a “mental health ministry” — a phrase nowhere found in Catholic tradition. The center offers “Catholic anthropology certificate” and “master’s-level counseling courses” from a secular university (University of Mary). This is the hermeneutic of continuity with the world, not with Christ.
Pius XI in Quas Primas thundered: “When God and Jesus Christ were removed from laws and states and when authority was derived not from God but from men, the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” The Phoenix center derives its authority from the Mayor of Phoenix, Kate Gallego, who participated in the ribbon-cutting. The civil power sanctions and legitimizes this “ministry.” The Syllabus of Errors condemns the proposition: “The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church” (Error 55), yet here the sect invites the State to co-inaugurate its works. The “mental health ministry” is the new established religion of the neo-church: a therapeutic deism that replaces the Unbloody Sacrifice of Calvary with counseling sessions.
Relic Worship of the Antichurch’s Manufactured “Saints”
The University of St. Thomas hosts “Archbishop Emeritus Domenico Sorrentino” for veneration of relics of “St. Carlo Acutis, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. Clare of Assisi.” Carlo Acutis was “canonized” by the antipope Francis (Bergoglio) — a manifest heretic who, by the teaching of St. Robert Bellarmine cited in the Defense of Sedevacantism, “by that very fact ceases to be Pope and head, just as he ceases to be a Christian and member of the body of the Church.” A heretic cannot canonize. The “canonization” of Acutis is a nullity, a theatrical production of the paramasonic structure occupying the Vatican. The veneration of his relics is idolatry, not the cult of the saints. The event description calls Acutis’s hymn “a witness to St. Francis’ ‘love for God carried at length to the full extent of the created universe.” This is pantheistic evolutionism, condemned by St. Pius X in Lamentabili Sane Exitu (Proposition 59: “Christ did not proclaim any specific, all-encompassing doctrine suitable for all times and peoples, but rather initiated a certain religious movement, applied or applicable to different times and places.”). The neo-church’s “saints” are icons of its new religion: youth, technology, and cosmic immanence.
Animated Catechesis: The Trivialization of the Deposit of Faith
The Diocese of Bridgeport launches “Bishop Frank Teaches the Faith” — a weekly animated cartoon series voiced by “Bishop” Frank Caggiano. “Every generation of the Church is called to find new and creative ways to proclaim the Gospel,” he states. “Our children are growing up in a world shaped by digital media, and we have an extraordinary opportunity to enter that world with them.” This is the aggiornamento of Vatican II in its purest form: the faith reduced to digital content, the episcopal office reduced to a cartoon character. The goal is “to help kids recognize that the faith is an invitation into a relationship with Jesus Christ and a way of living each day.” Not the one true Faith necessary for salvation (Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus), not the Credo, not the Commandments, not the Sacraments — but a “relationship” and a “way of living.” This is Modernism’s “vital immanence” (condemned in Lamentabili, Prop. 20: “Revelation was merely man’s self-awareness of his relationship to God.”). The “Institute for Catholic Formation” produces not Catholics formed in the Catechism of the Council of Trent, but consumers of religious entertainment.
Jesuit University as Financial Services Provider
Loyola University Maryland guarantees “at least $40,000 annually in Loyola-funded scholarships and grants” for early decision students and Catholic high school graduates. President Terrence Sawyer states: “We want families to have confidence that a Loyola education can be financially within reach.” The “Jesuit education” is a brand to be marketed with price guarantees. The Syllabus condemns: “The best theory of civil society requires that popular schools… should be freed from all ecclesiastical authority, control and interference, and should be fully subjected to the civil and political power” (Error 47). The conciliar “Catholic” universities have long since severed themselves from ecclesiastical authority; now they compete as secular corporations. The “Catholic high school commitment” guarantees money for graduates of schools that almost certainly teach the novelties of Vatican II — religious liberty, false ecumenism, evolutionism. The sect funds its own propagation.
Systemic Apostasy: The Conciliar Sect as Abomination of Desolation
These four news items are not discrete events; they are the systemic operation of the Church of the New Advent. The “mental health ministry” replaces the Cura Animarum with psychotherapy. The veneration of false “saints” replaces the Communion of Saints with a hall of fame for the new religion. The animated bishop replaces the Magisterium with media content. The financial guarantees replace Providentia Divina with corporate strategy. All flow from the principle condemned by Pius IX: “The Roman Pontiff can, and ought to, reconcile himself, and come to terms with progress, liberalism and modern civilization” (Syllabus, Error 80). The usurpers on the throne of Peter — from John XXIII to Leo XIV (Prevost) — have executed this reconciliation. They have no jurisdiction. As Bellarmine teaches, a manifest heretic “cannot be the head of something of which he is not a member; now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian… therefore, a manifest heretic cannot be Pope.” The “bishops” Dolan, Nevares, Caggiano, Sorrentino are appointees of antipopes; they possess no authority, no jurisdiction, no sacramental power. Their “ministries” are simulations, their “sacraments” are invalid (the Novus Ordo Missae and post-1968 ordinals being defective in form and intention), their “canonizations” are nullities.
The faithful must flee these structures (Fugite ex medio eius — Jer 51:45). The true Church endures in the catacombs, in the hands of bishops and priests retaining valid orders and the integral Faith, celebrating the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Tridentine Mass, teaching the unchanging doctrine of Trent, Vatican I, and the perennial Magisterium. The Phoenix center, the St. Thomas relic show, the Bridgeport cartoon, the Loyola tuition guarantee — these are the works of the synagogue of Satan (Apoc 2:9), the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place (Matt 24:15). Non possumus.
