Conciliar Sect Celebrates Feminist Usurpation and Vocational Naturalism in Catholic Education

The propaganda organ of the conciliar sect, EWTN News, reports the installation of a woman as president of the University of Dayton, alongside the reduction of Catholic schooling to mere vocational training in Cleveland and Omaha. These developments manifest the complete substitution of the supernatural mission of the Church with naturalistic feminism and utilitarian careerism.

Woman President: Rebellion Against Divine Order and Catholic Tradition

The appointment of Darlene Weaver as the first woman president of the University of Dayton is not a “milestone” but a scandalous usurpation of authority that contradicts the very nature of Catholic hierarchy and the complementarity of the sexes ordained by God. St. Paul teaches with apostolic authority: “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to use authority over the man: but to be in silence” (1 Tim 2:11-12). This is not a cultural accommodation but a divine positive law rooted in the order of creation: “For Adam was first formed; then Eve” (1 Tim 2:13).

The conciliar sect’s “Board of Trustees” chair, Deborah Tobias, praises Weaver’s “innate understanding” of the “Catholic, Marianist mission.” But a woman exercising headship over men in an institution claiming to be Catholic is a contradiction in terms. The Catholic Encyclopedia (pre-1958) states unequivocally that “the exclusion of women from the priesthood and from positions of ecclesiastical jurisdiction is of divine law.” Pope Pius XI in Casti Connubii (1930) condemns the “false liberty” that seeks to “emancipate woman from the duties of wife and mother” and place her “on an equal footing with man in the governance of the family and of society.”

Weaver’s own words expose the naturalistic rot: “In a world shaped by technological change, social division and questions about the value of higher education, the University of Dayton has a distinctive role to play in serving the common good.” Not a word about the salvation of souls, the Kingship of Christ, or the doctrine of the faith. The “common good” here is purely temporal, stripped of its supernatural end. This is secular humanism wearing a Marianist habit.

The “Marianist” Facade: Religious Life Emptied of Supernatural Content

The University of Dayton is run by the Society of Mary (Marianists), a post-conciliar religious congregation that has fully embraced the errors of Vatican II. Their “mission” now consists in “educating for lives of meaning, responsibility and service” — a pelagian reduction of Christianity to ethical activism. The true religious life, as defined by the Council of Trent (Sess. 25, De Regul. et Monach.), aims at the perfection of charity through the evangelical counsels, ordered to the glory of God and the sanctification of souls. The Marianist “charism” has been dissolved into the “common good” of the Masonic city of man.

Pope Pius XI in Quas Primas (1925) declares: “When God and Jesus Christ were removed from laws and states and when authority was derived not from God but from men, the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” The University of Dayton’s governance derives its authority from a “Board of Trustees” and accreditation agencies — from men, not from God. Its “Catholic identity” is a marketing slogan.

Vocational Training as Substitute for Catholic Formation

The Cleveland and Omaha initiatives reveal the total capitulation to the spirit of the world. Benedictine High School’s “Pathways” program offers “concentrations in STEM, business-entrepreneurship, fine and performing arts and vocations” with “electives in computer repair, media production, construction and manufacturing.” The Omaha “Archdiocese” under the false “Archbishop Michael McGovern” launches “trade bootcamps” in “auto repair, construction, and HVAC” plus a “Lunch and Learn series for women in technical areas.”

This is the total replacement of Catholic education with industrial apprenticeship. Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri (1929) teaches: “The proper and immediate end of Christian education is to cooperate with divine grace in forming the true and perfect Christian, that is, to form Christ Himself in those regenerated by Baptism.” The “true and perfect Christian” is formed by doctrine, liturgy, sacraments, and asceticism — not by “industry-recognized credentials” in HVAC repair.

The Syllabus of Errors (Pius IX, 1864) condemns: “The best theory of civil society requires that popular schools… should be freed from all ecclesiastical authority, control and interference, and should be fully subjected to the civil and political power” (Error 47). The conciliar schools have voluntarily surrendered to the state’s educational paradigm, becoming mere extensions of the public school system with a crucifix on the wall.

False Hierarchy, False Sacraments, False Mission

“Archbishop Michael McGovern” is a layman in episcopal vestments, ordained and consecrated in the invalid Paul VI rites (1968/1976), within the conciliar sect that has ipso facto defected from the Catholic faith. As St. Robert Bellarmine teaches (De Romano Pontifice, 2.30): “A manifest heretic cannot be Pope… a non-Christian in no way can be Pope… he cannot be the head of something of which he is not a member.” The same principle applies to bishops: one who adheres to the heresies of Vatican II (religious liberty, ecumenism, collegiality) is outside the Church and possesses no jurisdiction.

Canon 188.4 of the 1917 Code states: “Every office becomes vacant by the mere fact and without any declaration… if the cleric publicly defects from the Catholic faith.” The “Archdiocese of Omaha” is a fiction, a civil corporation masquerading as a diocese. Its “schools” are private academies with no canonical standing.

The EWTN Propaganda Machine

The article originates from EWTN News / Catholic News Agency, the media arm of the conciliar sect founded by the pseudo-friar Mother Angelica. It functions as Pravda for the neo-church, normalizing feminism, vocationalism, and the usurpation of ecclesiastical office by women and heretics. The reporter, Madalaine Elhabbal, is a graduate of “Benedictine College” — another conciliar institution — and serves the narrative of progressive Catholicism that is neither progressive nor Catholic.

Conclusion: The Abomination of Desolation in the Classroom

What we witness is the final stage of the conciliar revolution: the abomination of desolation (Matt 24:15) sitting in the chairs of Catholic universities and diocesan chanceries. Women presidents, vocational bootcamps, “Marianist mission” devoid of Mariology — these are the fruits of Vatican II. The true Church, the Ecclesia militans, endures in the catacombs, in the chapels of the faithful priests and bishops who never accepted the conciliar apostasy, who keep the Mass of all ages, the doctrine of all ages, the hierarchy of all ages.

“He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who gathers not with Me scatters” (Matt 12:30). The University of Dayton, Benedictine High School, the Omaha “Archdiocese” — they scatter. They serve the city of man. They are not Catholic.
