Conciliar Sect in India Begs Hindu Nationalist State for “Rights” While Ignoring Kingship of Christ

The Pillar Catholic portal reports that the All India Catholic Union (AICU), a lay organization of the conciliar sect, has decried an alleged attack by a Hindu nationalist mob on a convent of the “Salesian Sisters” in Barasat, West Bengal. The report details how the “Daughters of Mary Help of Christians” were threatened with demolition of their chapel and cemetery by individuals allegedly linked to the Hindu Jagran Manch and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), emboldened by the recent electoral victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The “Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India” (CBCI), headed by “Cardinal” Anthony Poola, appealed to the federal Home Minister Amit Shah for intervention, while “Fr.” Stephen Alathara urged resolution through “legal channels and democratic processes.” The article cites the Protestant NGO Open Doors ranking India as the 12th worst persecutor of Christians. This report lays bare the theological bankruptcy of the conciliar sect: reduced to a mere NGO begging the pagan Caesar for “constitutional rights” and “rule of law,” it has utterly abandoned the regnum Christi and the jus divinum of the King of Kings.

The Conciliar Sect Functions as an NGO Begging Caesar for “Rights”

The Salesian Sisters, who have been selflessly serving the poorest girls through education and social welfare for decades, were subjected to abusive language and intimidation… The mob reportedly declared, ‘Your government is no more, now it is our government,’ clearly indicating an attempt to bypass the rule of law through threats and fear.

Observe the language: “social welfare,” “education,” “rule of law,” “constitutional guarantees,” “minority rights.” Nowhere does the AICU statement — faithfully parroted by this conciliar news outlet — invoke the Social Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Nowhere does it declare that the Hindu nationalist mob offends Deus by its idolatry and that the Indian State has the divine obligation (debitum cultus) to profess the Catholic Faith and repress public idolatry. As Pius XI teaches in Quas Primas: “When God and Jesus Christ… were removed from laws and states and when authority was derived not from God but from men, the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” The AICU appeals to the very “authority derived from men” — the Indian Constitution, a Masonic-secularist document — which Pius XI explicitly condemns as the source of societal dissolution. The “Salesian Sisters” are presented not as brides of Christ offering the Sacrifice of the Mass for the conversion of Hindus, but as social workers “serving the poorest girls.” This is naturalism pure and simple, the very plague Quas Primas was instituted to combat.

Linguistic Surrender: The Vocabulary of Dignitatis Humanae, Not Quas Primas

The article’s rhetoric — echoed by “Fr.” Alathara’s call to “reject violence and resolve disputes exclusively through legal channels and democratic processes” — is the vernacular of the Declaration on Religious Liberty (Dignitatis Humanae), the heretical cornerstone of the conciliar revolution. The Syllabus of Pius IX condemns as error: “The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church” (Error 55) and “In the present day it is no longer expedient that the Catholic religion should be held as the only religion of the State” (Error 77). Yet the entire strategy of the CBCI and AICU presupposes the legitimacy of the secular Indian State and its “neutral” legal framework. They do not demand that the BJP government convert and confess Christ the King; they demand “security,” “legal action,” and “protection of minority rights.” This is the language of the Civitas Terrena surrendered to the Prince of this World, not the Civitas Dei militant.

Theological Bankruptcy: “Cardinal” Poola Begs the Hindu Home Minister

CBCI president Cardinal Anthony Poola led a delegation to meet with India’s federal home minister Amit Shah July 10. The delegation reportedly raised concerns about rising anti-Christian incidents in the country. Shah is said to have promised to intervene in cases where local police failed to register cases.

Here is the spectacle of the conciliar “hierarchy” in its full degradation. A “Cardinal” of the neo-church, a “Prince of the Church” (so-called), goes cap in hand to Amit Shah — a Hindu nationalist, a worshipper of idols, a man who embodies the regnum Satanae in the temporal order — to beg for “intervention” and “police registration.” Quas Primas declares: “Let rulers of states therefore not refuse public veneration and obedience to the reigning Christ… for the State is happy not by one means, and man by another… He is the author of prosperity and true happiness for individual citizens as well as for the state.” “Cardinal” Poola does not proclaim this truth to Shah. He does not warn him of the Judicium Finale. He negotiates “security” for sectarian properties. This is the collegialitas of Vatican II in action: a synod of beggars before the civil power. The Syllabus condemns the error that “The civil government… has a right to an indirect negative power over religious affairs” (Error 41); here the conciliar sect *invites* that power to “protect” it, legitimizing the State’s jurisdiction over the Church’s freedom (Libertas Ecclesiae).

The “Salesian Sisters”: Conciliar Religious, Not Brides of Christ

The article lauds the “Daughters of Mary Help of Christians” for “education and social welfare.” It mentions a “memorial chapel and cemetery… intended for the burial of its members.” Where is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass? Where is the Opus Dei — the Divine Office chanted in choir? Where is the victima propitiatoria offered for the conversion of the Hindus? The “Salesian Sisters” of the conciliar sect, formed in the novus ordo spirit of Perfectae Caritatis (the conciliar decree on religious life), have largely abandoned the contemplative heart of religious life for “social welfare” — the corporal works of mercy severed from the spiritual, which is pelagianism in practice. The “chapel” mentioned is likely a site for the Novus Ordo Missae, the “table of assembly” which replaced the Altare Sacrificii. The cemetery is for bodies buried without the traditional Requiem Mass and the Absolution over the grave. The mob threatens bricks and mortar; the conciliar sect has already surrendered the supernatural treasure.

Symptomatic of the Conciliar Apostasy: Appeal to “Open Doors” and “Minority Rights”

The article cites Open Doors, a Protestant evangelical NGO, as an authority on persecution rankings (“12th worst country”). The conciliar sect now takes its ecclesiology from heretics. Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus is replaced by “religious freedom” metrics. The AICU, founded in 1919, has become a purely naturalistic lobby group. Its statement — “The right to worship and the right to maintain places of worship are fundamental rights guaranteed by the Indian Constitution” — is a profession of faith in the Constitutio Civilis, not the Constitutio Divina. Pius IX in the Syllabus (Error 15) condemns: “Every man is free to embrace and profess that religion which, guided by the light of reason, he shall consider true.” The AICU defends this very “freedom” for Christians in India, implicitly accepting the Hindu’s equal “right” to his idols. This is indifferentism (Syllabus Errors 15-18), the “pestilence” against which Quas Primas was the remedy.

The True Remedy: Instaurare Omnia in Christo, Not “Legal Channels”

The incident in Barasat is a chastisement, permitted by God, upon a land steeped in idolatry — and upon a conciliar sect that has lost the sensus fidei. The Hindu mob acts with the fury of the princeps huius mundi because the “Church” in India no longer acts as the Ecclesia Militans. It does not exorcise, it does not anathematize the idols, it does not demand the conversion of the State. It files police reports. “He who gives the Kingdom of Heaven does not take away earthly things!” (Hymn Crudelis Herodes, cited in Quas Primas). But the conciliar sect *only* seeks to keep its earthly things (property, permits, safety) having long since ceased to offer the Kingdom of Heaven to the Hindus. The true Church, the Ecclesia Catholica persevering in the Sedes Vacans resistance, knows that Non est aliud nomen sub caelo datum hominibus in quo oporteat nos salvari (Acts 4:12). The only solution for West Bengal is the Social Reign of Christ the King — the public profession of the Catholic Faith by the State, the prohibition of public idolatry, and the conversion of souls through the Sacrificium Missae and the preaching of the Integral Faith. Begging Amit Shah for “police registration” is not merely useless; it is a scandal and a betrayal of the Primatus Christi.
