While acknowledging Nicaea’s condemnation of Arianism, the piece promotes the conciliar sect’s false ecumenism through “Pope” Leo XIV’s statement that “this unity can only be unity in faith” – a hollow phrase stripped of its necessary Catholic context. The article engages in historical positivism by treating the council primarily as an imperial political event rather than a supernatural intervention of the Holy Ghost to defend Christ’s divinity. Dominican Father Dominic Legge correctly identifies Arian errors but operates within the compromised framework of an institution that tolerates modernists.
