Apostate Vatican’s Empty New Year Rituals Mock True Catholic Hope

The Catholic News Agency portal reports on antipope Robert Prevost (calling himself “Leo XIV”) presiding over Vespers for the solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on December 31, 2025. The article describes Prevost’s homily emphasizing “God’s mysterious plan” and “hope of ordinary people,” while contrasting divine providence with “worldly plans of conquest.” The liturgy included the Te Deum hymn and culminated with the antipope blessing a nativity scene in St. Peter’s Square during the Masonic-approved Jubilee Year 2025.

The Heretical Substitution of True Devotion to Mary

The conciliar sect’s ritual bears superficial resemblance to Catholic worship while gutting its substance. Prevost’s reference to “the Virgin Mary [who] proclaimed in her canticle of praise” deliberately omits that authentic Marian devotion always leads souls to adhæratio (adherence) to divine truth. The true Magnificat proclaims God’s victory over heresy: “He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart… He hath put down the mighty from their seat” (Lk 1:51-52). The Vatican II sect perverts this into an ecumenical slogan, with Prevost reducing the Mother of God to a prop for his naturalistic “hope” devoid of doctrinal content.

St. Louis de Montfort warned: “The devil, being jealous of Jesus Christ, inspires a greater contempt and hatred than ever against this devotion [to Mary] – a devotion which in substance is the same as that which Jesus Christ Himself practiced while on earth” (True Devotion to Mary, n. 53). By celebrating Mary’s divine maternity while simultaneously promoting religious indifferentism through the Jubilee Year interfaith events, the antipope commits theological fraud.

Omission of Christ’s Social Kingship

Prevost’s entire homily conspicuously avoids the foundational Catholic truth that Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus imperat (Christ conquers, Christ reigns, Christ commands). Pius XI’s encyclical Quas Primas (1925) established the feast of Christ the King precisely to combat the “plague of secularism” by declaring: “The empire of our Redeemer embraces all men… Nor is there any difference in this matter between the individual and the family or the State; for all men, whether collectively or individually, are under the dominion of Christ” (n. 18). The contrast between Pius XI’s clarity and Prevost’s vacuous “hope” manifesto reveals the apostate nature of the conciliar sect.

Naturalization of Divine Hope

The antipope’s assertion that “the world moves forward… propelled by the hope of so many simple people” constitutes pure Pelagianism. Authentic Catholic teaching defines hope as “a supernatural virtue by which we trust God will give us eternal life and the means to obtain it” (Baltimore Catechism). Prevost replaces this with a horizontal, anthropocentric sentiment indistinguishable from UN humanitarian rhetoric. His vision of “a better tomorrow” pointedly avoids mentioning the necessity of sacramental grace, repentance, or submission to Christ’s eternal kingship.

The Council of Trent anathematizes such naturalism: “If anyone says that without divine grace through Jesus Christ man can be justified before God… let him be anathema” (Session VI, Canon 1). The Vatican II sect’s “hope” leads souls to hell by convincing them that generic goodwill substitutes for sanctifying grace.

Jubilee Year as Masonic Spectacle

The article notes the ceremony concluded the “Jubilee Year 2025” – a blasphemous parody of true Holy Years instituted by Boniface VIII in 1300. Authentic Jubilees required public profession of faith, not interreligious gatherings. Prevost’s thanksgiving for “all those who… worked in service to the pilgrims” whitewashes the Vatican’s scandalous collaborations with Freemasonic organizations in managing Jubilee events. Pius VIII’s bull Ecclesiam a Jesu Christo (1821) condemned Freemasonry as “the synagogue of Satan” plotting the Church’s destruction. The conciliar sect has become precisely this Satanic instrument.

Theological Bankruptcy of Conciliar “Motherhood”

Prevost’s description of Mary as “the woman with whom God… wrote the Word” constitutes dangerous sophistry. The Dogmatic Constitution on the Church of Christ (Vatican I) teaches that divine revelation was closed with the death of the last Apostle. By implying ongoing “writing” through Mary, the antipope promotes the modernist heresy of doctrinal evolution condemned by St. Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis: “To the laws of evolution everything is subject under penalty of death – dogma, Church, worship, the Books we revere as sacred, even faith itself” (n. 26).

The article’s closing reference to Prevost greeting the Swiss Guard Band – founded to protect true popes – underscores the abysmal depth of the Vatican’s apostasy. As Our Lady of La Salette warned: “Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.”
