The Pillar portal (June 30, 2026) publishes a newsletter by JD Flynn that reads like a chronicle of the conciliar sect’s terminal agony: an antipope begging a schismatic sect not to ordain “bishops” while both parties share the same Modernist DNA, a “beatification” of a Modernist collaborator sold on Ticketmaster, and a sickening paean to the Masonic republic’s 250th anniversary masquerading as Catholic piety. The article exposes not a crisis of authority, but the total dissolution of the supernatural order in the structures occupying Rome.
The Antipope’s “Consistory” and the Synodal Heresy
Flynn reports with bureaucratic glee that the “College of Cardinals” concluded a second “consistory” in the “Leonine pontificate,” focusing on synodality. He notes the “theological basis” emphasized by the antipope Leo XIV: “an experience of communion at service of mission,” rooted in “sacramental communion achieved in baptism, and in the Eucharistic sacrifice of the Mass.”
This is ecclesiological poison. The concept of “synodality” as a permanent structural principle of governance is a heretical novelty of Vatican II, contradicting the divine constitution of the Church (divina constitutio Ecclesiae), which is monarchical, not collegial. Pope Pius XI, in Quas Primas, teaches that Christ’s Kingdom is governed by a threefold authority—legislative, judicial, executive—residing fully in the Vicar of Christ, not in a “college” discerning together. “We must believe unshakably that Christ Jesus is given to men as Redeemer… but at the same time He is the Lawgiver, to whom men owe obedience.” The antipope’s “consistory” is a Masonic parody of governance, replacing the potestas iurisdictionis of the Pope with a democratic “common discernment” proper to a Protestant consistory or a Masonic lodge. The Syllabus of Errors (Prop. 23, 36) condemns the idea that councils can usurp the rights of the Roman Pontiff or that national churches can be established; “synodality” is the realization of these condemned errors.
The SSPX Farce: Two Sides of the Same Conciliar Coin
The centerpiece of Flynn’s report is the letter from the antipope to Fr. Pagliarani, Superior of the SSPX: “I plead with you and ask you with all my heart: please turn back!” The antipope threatens “declared excommunications” and the removal of “faculties” for confessions.
I urge you to consider carefully the spiritual good of the faithful, because the schismatic act you are about to undertake would deprive them of the licit and, in some cases, even valid reception of the sacraments, which they love and seek for their sanctification.
This is theater of the absurd. The SSPX, founded by Abp. Lefebvre—who continuously acknowledged the validity of the usurpers in the Vatican (“give us the old Mass, that is enough for us”) and was ordained by the Freemason Liénart—possesses no jurisdiction whatsoever. As the Defense of Sedevacantism file demonstrates, citing St. Robert Bellarmine and Canon 188.4, a manifest heretic loses office ipso facto (ipso facto, by the very fact). The “popes” from John XXIII onward are manifest heretics (Modernists), automatically deposed. Therefore, the SSPX operates outside the Church, not as a “canonically irregular” group, but as a schism within the schism of the neo-church. Their planned “episcopal ordinations” are sacrilegious simulations, lacking the missio canonica from a true Pope. The antipope’s “plea” is not pastoral charity; it is the desperate maneuver of a usurper trying to maintain the illusion of unity within his counterfeit church. Pagliarani’s response—claiming to serve the “mother in distress” by “extraordinary means”—is the rhetoric of revolution, not obedience. Non est potestas nisi a Deo (There is no power but from God); neither the antipope nor the SSPX holds it.
Fulton Sheen: A Modernist “Saint” for a Counterfeit Church
Flynn begins with an advertisement for a pilgrimage to the “beatification of Ven. Fulton Sheen in St. Louis,” sold via Ticketmaster with discount codes. Sheen, the darling of the Americanist establishment, was a pioneer of the cult of man and media religion, psychologizing the Faith and paving the way for the democratization of the Church condemned by St. Pius X in Lamentabili Sane Exitu (Prop. 59: “Christ did not proclaim any specific, all-encompassing doctrine suitable for all times and peoples…”). His “beatification” by the antipope Francis (and now celebrated under Leo XIV) is null and void. As the Facts and Myths directive states: “John Paul II – a heretic and apostate… antipope ‘canonized’ him.” The same applies to Sheen. Selling tickets on Ticketmaster for a “historic Catholic moment” reduces the sanctitas to a commodity, a fitting liturgy for the Church of the New Advent.
Americanism and the Denial of the Social Kingship of Christ
Flynn’s reflection on “America at 250” is the most damning section. He quotes the heretic John Paul II: “The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless ones.” He laments political polarization, urging readers to “put cross of living the Christian life ahead of the political scoreboard,” listing the fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22) as the antidote.
This is pure Americanism, condemned by Leo XIII (Testem Benevolentiae) and implicit in the Syllabus (Prop. 55, 77, 78). Flynn seeks a virtuous republic without the Catholic Confessional State. He ignores Quas Primas: “Let rulers of states therefore not refuse public veneration and obedience to the reigning Christ… for it will remind them of the final judgment, in which Christ… will very severely avenge these insults.” The United States was founded on Masonic principles—separation of Church and State, religious liberty, popular sovereignty—errors condemned by the Syllabus (Props. 55, 77, 79). To hope for “another 250 years of this nation” rooted in “saints of its own” while the nation’s Constitution enshrines libertas perditionis (liberty of perdition) is eschatological delirium. The “virtue” Flynn praises is naturalistic Pelagianism, severed from gratia sanctificans and the Social Kingship of Christ the King. Pax Christi in regno Christi (Peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ)—there is no other.
The Liturgical Ruin: New “Liturgy of the Hours”
Flynn notes the “new translation of The Liturgy of the Hours” after 50 years, published by Ascension Press. This is the continuation of the liturgical revolution begun by Bugnini. Lex orandi, lex credendi (The law of praying is the law of believing). Changing the Office changes the Faith. The traditional Breviarium Romanum was the prayer of the Church Militant; the “Liturgy of the Hours” is the prayer of the Church of the New Advent, stripped of imprecatory psalms, Marian antiphons, and the sensus militans. It is a Protestantized office for a Protestantized sect.
Freemasonry and Geo-Political Compromise
The Nordic “bishops'” letter against Freemasonry and the Armenian crisis over Azeri funding of Vatican restorations are cited. The Nordic letter is hypocritical theater; the False Fatima Apparitions file details the Masonic Operation “Fatima” and the infiltration of the hierarchy. The “Vatican” taking money from the Aliyev regime (Azerbaijan) while Armenians are ethnically cleansed proves the conciliar sect serves Mammon and geopolitics, not Christ. Non potestis Deo servire et mammonae (You cannot serve God and mammon).
Conclusion: The Abomination of Desolation
Flynn’s newsletter is a portrait of the Abomination of Desolation standing in the Holy Place (Matt 24:15). An antipope pretending to govern, a schismatic sect pretending to resist, a “beatification” sold like concert tickets, and a “Catholic” journalist urging loyalty to a Masonic republic. The only remedy is the total rejection of the conciliar sect and adherence to the integral Catholic Faith preserved by true bishops and priests holding the Traditio without compromise. Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (Outside the Church there is no salvation). The structures occupying the Vatican are not the Church; they are the paramasonic structure foretold by the prophets of the Great Apostasy.
