Conciliar Sect’s Parolin Condemns SSPX Ordinations as Schismatic While Both Sides Reject Christ’s Kingship

The National Catholic Register portal reports that Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State for the conciliar sect occupying the Vatican, denounced the episcopal ordinations conferred by the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) on July 1, 2026, as a “schismatic act” that “deeply wounds the unity of the Church.” Parolin threatened the canonical penalty of excommunication while insisting that acceptance of the Second Vatican Council remains the “fundamental point” for any dialogue. This spectacle of the blind leading the blind exposes the total bankruptcy of both the conciliar hierarchy and its controlled opposition: two wings of the same neo-church united in rebellion against the Social Kingship of Christ the King.

The Conciliar Sect Has No Authority to Define Schism

Cardinal Parolin’s declaration is juridically null and theologically void. The men exercising authority in the Vatican since 1958 are not legitimate successors of Peter but usurpers who have defected from the Catholic Faith. As St. Robert Bellarmine teaches in De Romano Pontifice, “a Pope who is a manifest heretic, by that very fact ceases to be Pope and head, just as he ceases to be a Christian and member of the body of the Church.” The conciliar “popes” from John XXIII onward have publicly professed the heresies of religious liberty, false ecumenism, and collegiality—errors condemned by the Syllabus of Pius IX and the encyclicals of St. Pius X. By the principle ipso facto (by the very fact), they lost all jurisdiction before any declaratory sentence. Pope Paul IV’s Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio confirms that the promotion of a heretic “even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void, and of no effect.” Therefore, Parolin holds no office, his “canonical penalties” are empty threats, and his definition of “unity” is unity with apostasy.

The SSPX: Schism Within a Schism, Recognizing the Usurpers

The SSPX ordinations are indeed invalid—but not because they lack a “pontifical mandate” from the antipope. They are invalid because the SSPX bishops derive their orders from a lineage that acknowledges the false hierarchy as legitimate. Archbishop Lefebvre continuously recognized the validity of the conciliar “popes,” declaring: “give us the old Mass, that is enough for us.” This is the essence of the recognize-and-resist error: a contradiction in terms. One cannot simultaneously submit to a manifest heretic as Vicar of Christ and resist his heresies. As Bellarmine states, “a manifest heretic cannot be Pope… he cannot be the head of something of which he is not a member.” By accepting the usurpers as true popes, the SSPX places itself inside the conciliar sect, making its “traditionalism” a mere liturgical preference within the neo-church. The ordinations performed yesterday are thus the acts of a schismatic group within the great schism of the conciliar revolution—a schism within a schism.

Vatican II: The “Milestone” of Apostasy

Parolin’s insistence that “the Second Vatican Council is a milestone in the history of the Church that must be accepted” reveals the demonic heart of the conciliar religion. Vatican II is not a true ecumenical council but a revolutionary assembly that promulgated heresies condemned by the perennial Magisterium. Its decree Dignitatis Humanae teaches religious liberty—directly contradicting Pius IX’s Syllabus (Error 15: “Every man is free to embrace and profess that religion which… he shall consider true”) and Leo XIII’s Immortale Dei. Its decree Unitatis Redintegratio establishes false ecumenism, treating the Catholic Church as one “church” among many—contradicting Pius XI’s Mortalium Animos and the dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus. Its pastoral constitution Gaudium et Spes exalts the “cult of man” over the Kingship of Christ. As St. Pius X condemned in Lamentabili Sane Exitu (Prop. 58): “Truth changes with man, because it develops with him, in him, and through him.” Vatican II is the embodiment of this Modernist evolutionism. To “accept and implement” it is to apostatize.

The True Unity of the Church: Subjection to Christ the King

Parolin speaks of “unity of the Church” while presiding over a sect that has abolished the Social Kingship of Christ. Pius XI, in Quas Primas, teaches that “Peace is only possible in the kingdom of Christ” and that “the state must leave the same freedom to the members of Orders and Congregations… who are indeed the most valiant helpers of the Pastors of the Church and contribute most to the expansion and establishment of Christ’s Kingdom.” The encyclical condemns “the secularism of our times, so-called laicism, its errors and wicked endeavors” which “began with the denial of Christ the Lord’s reign over all nations.” The conciliar sect, by embracing religious liberty and the separation of Church and State, has formally rejected Christ’s Kingship. Its “unity” is the unity of the civitas terrena rebelling against the civitas Dei. True Catholic unity exists only in the profession of the integral Faith, the preservation of the Traditional Mass and Sacraments, and the recognition of no authority above Christ the King.

Canon 188.4 and the Vacancy of the See

The 1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 188.4, states that an office becomes vacant “by the mere fact and without any declaration… if the cleric: … 4. Publicly defects from the Catholic faith.” Fr. McDevitt clarifies: “joining, or enrolling in, a non-Catholic sect is not required to establish the publicity which the canon demands.” The conciliar “clergy” have publicly defected by professing the novelties of Vatican II, implementing the Novus Ordo Missae (a Protestantized rite), and practicing intercommunion with heretics. They have thus vacated their offices ipso facto. The example of Nestorius, cited by Pope Celestine I, confirms that a heretical prelate loses jurisdiction from the moment he begins to preach heresy, before any declaration by the Church. The faithful who broke communion with Nestorius before any papal sentence were praised by St. Cyril of Alexandria. Today, true Catholics must break communion with the conciliar hierarchy for the same reason: they are manifest heretics outside the Church.

The Farce of “Dialogue” and the Only Solution

Parolin’s hope that “dialogue can resume” is the perennial trap of the neo-church. Dialogue presupposes a common ground—but there is no common ground between the Faith and its negation. The SSPX’s decades of “dialogue” have produced only compromise: the 1988 illicit consecrations regularized by the motu proprio Ecclesia Dei, the 2009 lifting of “excommunications” (which were null anyway), the 2017 recognition of SSPX confessions and marriages—all concessions that legitimize the conciliar revolution. The only solution is not “regularization” by the antipope but conversion to the integral Catholic Faith: rejection of Vatican II, the Novus Ordo, and the false hierarchy; adherence to bishops with valid orders and jurisdiction derived from the pre-1958 Church; and the public profession of the Social Kingship of Christ over all nations. As Pius XI commands: “Let rulers of states therefore not refuse public veneration and obedience to the reigning Christ… if they wish to maintain their authority inviolate.”

Conclusion: Two Wings of the Same Bird of Prey

The Parolin-SSPX confrontation is a staged theater. Both sides accept the legitimacy of the conciliar “popes.” Both sides accept Vatican II as a valid council (the SSPX with “reservations” that change nothing). Both sides operate within the canonical framework of the 1983 Code—a code promulgated by an antipope and therefore devoid of authority. The SSPX ordinations are not a courageous stand for Tradition but a desperate attempt to secure a place within the neo-church structure. True Catholics recognize that the Chair of Peter has been vacant since 1958, that the conciliar sect is the “abomination of desolation” spoken of by Daniel and Our Lord, and that the only path to salvation is fidelity to the immutable Tradition preserved by the remnant of valid bishops and priests who have never compromised with the revolution. Non praevalebunt—the gates of hell shall not prevail, but they will not prevail through the structures of the Antichrist.
