Vatican News portal (August 28, 2026) reports on Estonian Catholics preparing to commemorate the first anniversary of the beatification of Jesuit Archbishop Eduard Profittlich (1890–1942), performed on September 6, 2025, by the structures occupying the Vatican. The article frames the event as an ecumenical triumph uniting Latin and Ukrainian Greek Catholics, a diplomatic success with the Estonian state, and a witness to “human dignity” against totalitarianism. This spectacle of false sanctity, orchestrated by a usurping hierarchy, exposes the neo-church’s reduction of the supernatural order to naturalistic humanitarianism.
Invalid Act of a Usurping Hierarchy
The so-called beatification of Profittlich is a null and void act performed by an antipope. Since 1958, the See of Peter has been vacant; the line of usurpers beginning with John XXIII has publicly defected from the Catholic faith, embracing the synthesis of all heresies condemned by St. Pius X in Lamentabili sane exitu and Pascendi Dominici gregis. As St. Robert Bellarmine teaches, “a Pope who is a manifest heretic, by that very fact ceases to be Pope and head… he may be judged and punished by the Church” (De Romano Pontifice). Pope Paul IV’s Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio declares that any promotion of a heretic “shall be null, void, and of no effect”. Canon 188.4 of the 1917 Code confirms that an office becomes vacant “by the mere fact and without any declaration… if the cleric publicly defects from the Catholic faith.” The conciliar sect possesses no jurisdiction to beatify, canonize, or govern. Its “blesseds” are fabrications of a paramasonic structure.
Ecumenism as Apostasy: The Syllabus Condemned
The article boasts that the beatification “acquired an important ecumenical dimension for all Christians” and highlights the presence of Ukrainian Greek Catholics. This is the heresy of indifferentism solemnly condemned by Pius IX in the Syllabus of Errors: “Protestantism is nothing more than another form of the same true Christian religion… Man may, in the observance of any religion whatever, find the way of eternal salvation” (Props. 16, 18). The Syllabus further anathematizes the proposition: “The Roman Pontiff can, and ought to, reconcile himself, and come to terms with progress, liberalism and modern civilization” (Prop. 80). The neo-church’s “ecumenical dialogue” is not charity but treason against the unum necessarium — the necessity of the Catholic Church for salvation (Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus). By celebrating a “shared witness” with schismatics, the conciliar sect denies the Social Kingship of Christ, which Quas Primas proclaims: “His reign encompasses not only Catholic nations… but also all non-Christians, so that most truly the entire human race is subject to the authority of Jesus Christ.”
Naturalistic Humanism Replaces Supernatural Faith
The rhetoric of the article is saturated with secular categories. The former ambassador speaks of “the cyclical nature of human evil,” “totalitarian contempt for human dignity,” and a “moral warning call to the present.” Bishop Jourdan reduces the Church’s credibility to “the fruits of holiness it bears” in a sociological sense. Nowhere is mentioned the Sacrifice of the Mass, the state of grace, the Four Last Things, or the necessity of conversion to the one true Faith. This is the cult of man condemned by Pius XI: “When God and Jesus Christ… were removed from laws and states… the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” The beatification is repurposed as a political monument against “totalitarianism,” stripping martyrdom of its theological essence — odium fidei — and converting it into a generic symbol of “resistance.” The true martyr dies for Christ the King; the neo-church’s “martyr” dies for “human dignity.”
False Obedience to a False Hierarchy
Bishop Jourdan, a “bishop” of the conciliar sect, claims Profittlich “decided of his own accord not to abandon the people entrusted to his care.” This language presupposes a valid mission from a legitimate hierarchy. But the Society of Jesus, like all religious orders in the neo-church, has been corrupted by Modernism since the General Congregation 31 (1965). Profittlich’s Jesuit formation post-dates the Modernist infiltration condemned by St. Pius X. The article’s silence on the Traditional Latin Mass, the Roman Rite of his time, and the Tridentine profession of faith is deafening. The “Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Estonia” referenced is itself a structure absorbed into the conciliar sect, its liturgy and theology novus-ordized. Father Kihk’s statement that “violence and death never have the final word—the final word belongs to God and the Resurrection” is a Protestantized, sentimentalized eschatology devoid of the judicial authority of Christ the King who “has given all judgment to the Son” (John 5:22, cited in Quas Primas).
Cooperation with the State: Betrayal of Ecclesiastical Liberty
The article rejoices in “the opportunity for the Catholic Church in Estonia to cooperate with the State on the path toward holiness.” This is the error condemned in the Syllabus (Prop. 55): “The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church.” True ecclesiastical liberty, as Pius XI teaches, demands “full freedom and independence from secular authority” because the Church “cannot depend on anyone’s will.” The neo-church’s “cooperation” is servility to the secular power, exchanging the rights of God for civic recognition. The Estonian state, a secular liberal democracy, is hailed as a partner in “holiness” — a blasphemous confusion of the City of Man with the City of God.
Symptomatic of the Great Apostasy
This beatification spectacle is a symptom of the abomination of desolation foretold by Our Lord (Matt. 24:15). The conciliar sect manufactures “saints” to legitimize its false magisterium, its false ecumenism, its false religious liberty. The faithful in Estonia, numbering a mere 8,000, are fed a diet of naturalistic heroism instead of the Bread of Angels. The “prayer cards” distributed in a “small church in Tallinn’s Old Town” are talismans of a false religion. As the Syllabus warns, the sects — “whether they be called masonic or bear another name” — seek “to submit the Church of God to the most cruel servitude.” The beatification of Profittlich is not a triumph of grace but a stage in the Masonic operation to replace the Church Militant with an NGO for “peace and dialogue.”
“You are Christ the King of glory!” sang the faithful at the Nicaean Jubilee (Quas Primas). Today, the usurpers in Vatican City sing the praises of “human dignity” and “ecumenical witness.” The contrast is the measure of the apostasy. Non praevalebunt — the gates of hell shall not prevail against the true Church, which endures in the catacombs of Tradition, adhering to the immutable Faith, the Traditional Mass, and the Social Kingship of Christ, awaiting the restoration of all things in Him.
