Israeli Permit Crisis Exposes Conciliar Church’s Naturalistic Capitulation in Jerusalem

The National Catholic Register reports that Christian schools in Jerusalem have suspended classes for the second time this year after Israeli authorities failed to renew entry permits for approximately seventy teachers and staff members. The schools, describing their work as an “educational and humanitarian mission” integral to Jerusalem’s “cultural and social fabric,” cite the sudden lack of personnel for instruction, administration, health, cleaning, and security as making a safe start impossible. They express hope for a quick resolution so the academic year can proceed normally. This episode lays bare the complete subjection of the conciliar sect’s institutions to secular power and the total eclipse of the supernatural mission of the Church.

Reduction of the Church’s Mission to Naturalistic Humanitarianism

The statement issued by these schools—undoubtedly operated by the Franciscan Custody or the Latin Patriarchate of the conciliar sect—is a masterclass in laicism. Nowhere is there mention of the salvation of souls, the doctrinal integrity of the Faith, or the Social Kingship of Christ the King over civil society. Instead, we read of an “educational and humanitarian mission,” “high-quality education,” “values,” “a sense of belonging,” and “responsibility.” This is the vocabulary of the United Nations, not the Bride of Christ.

Pope Pius XI, in Quas Primas, teaches with unshakeable authority: “His reign encompasses not only Catholic nations… but His reign encompasses also all non-Christians, so that most truly the entire human race is subject to the authority of Jesus Christ.” He further condemns the plague of the age: “This plague is the secularism of our times, so-called laicism, its errors and wicked endeavors… It began with the denial of Christ the Lord’s reign over all nations.” These schools, by their own admission, function as cultural NGOs begging permits from a secular state that denies Christ’s Kingship, thereby de facto accepting the Syllabus-condemned error that “The civil government… has a right to an indirect negative power over religious affairs” (Syllabus, Error 41) and that “In the case of conflicting laws enacted by the two powers, the civil law prevails” (Error 42).

Linguistic Evidence of Theological Apostasy

The rhetoric employed is deliberately stripped of the sacramental and supernatural order. The schools claim to have “formed an integral part of Jerusalem’s identity and its cultural and social fabric.” Cultural and social fabric—this is the language of Gaudium et Spes, the pastoral constitution of the false Vatican II, which replaced the City of God with the city of man. The phrase “grounded in knowledge, values, a sense of belonging, and responsibility” is pure personalist phenomenology, the philosophical poison of Wojtyła, substituting valores for virtutes, appartenance for fides, responsabilité for obedientia.

There is no reference to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacraments, Catholic doctrine, or the conversion of the Jews and Muslims to the one true Faith. The silence is the gravest accusation: qui tacet consentire videtur (he who is silent seems to consent). By framing the crisis solely as a logistical failure of “permits,” the authors implicitly accept the legitimacy of the Israeli state’s sovereignty over the Church’s freedom—a direct violation of Libertas Ecclesiae, the inalienable freedom of the Church from civil coercion, condemned as error by Pius IX (Syllabus, Errors 19, 20, 24, 27, 31).

Theological Bankruptcy: Subjection to the Secular Arm

The factual core of the article—the suspension of classes due to lack of Israeli permits—is a scandalous manifestation of the conciliar church’s vassalage to the State of Israel. Since the Fundamental Agreement of 1993 between the Holy See and Israel, the conciliar sect has bound itself by concordat to the civil authority of a state that officially rejects the Messiah and persecutes the Church. This is the bitter fruit of the heresy of religious liberty (Dignitatis Humanae), which teaches that the State has no duty to profess the Catholic Faith but only to guarantee “freedom of worship.”

St. Pius X, in Lamentabili Sane Exitu, condemned the Modernist proposition: “The Church is an enemy of the progress of natural and theological sciences” (Prop. 57), but the greater error is the inversion: the conciliar sect has become the servant of the secular state. The schools “consulted and coordinated with the relevant authorities, representatives of parents, and other Jerusalem schools.” Relevant authorities—meaning the Israeli Civil Administration. Coordinated—meaning submitted. Where is the Epikeia of the martyrs? Where is the non possumus of the true bishops who would rather close the schools forever than accept the yoke of the enemies of Christ?

Pope Pius IX, in the Syllabus, condemns: “The Church has not the power of using force, nor has she any temporal power, direct or indirect” (Error 24) and “The ecclesiastical power ought not to exercise its authority without the permission and assent of the civil government” (Error 20). The conciliar sect has made these errors its modus operandi. It has no temporal power because it has surrendered its spiritual authority. It begs for permits because it no longer commands in the name of Christ the King.

Symptomatic Level: The Conciliar Sect as a Tool of the Masonic Order

This crisis is not an accident; it is the necessary consequence of the conciliar revolution. The “Christian schools” in Jerusalem are the showcase of the ecumenical dialogue with Judaism and Islam. They exist to legitimize the Zionist state and the Palestinian Authority as partners in “peace,” obscuring the unica salus reality that “There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12), cited by Pius XI in Quas Primas.

The “values” taught in these schools are the Masonic values of fraternité universelle without paternité divine. The suspension of classes is a staged crisis, a pressure tactic in the ongoing negotiation between the conciliar sect and the Israeli government over property rights, tax exemptions, and visa quotas. The “teachers and staff” are largely lay functionaries of the neo-church apparatus, many of whom do not even profess the integral Catholic Faith. The “security and safety procedures” mentioned are the concern of a worldly institution protecting its assets, not a supernatural society guarding the deposit of Faith.

The Only Remedy: The Restoration of Christ’s Kingship

The article concludes with a pitiful “hope that the crisis would be resolved quickly.” This is the hope of the world, not the virtus theologalis. The true Catholic response, as mandated by Quas Primas, is not to negotiate permits but to proclaim the Kingship of Christ over Jerusalem, over Israel, over the Palestinian territories, and over every square inch of the Holy Land. “Let rulers of states therefore not refuse public veneration and obedience to the reigning Christ… if they wish to maintain their authority inviolate and contribute to the increase of their homeland’s happiness.”

The true Church—Ecclesia Catholica, subsisting in the remnant faithful to Tradition, served by validly ordained priests and bishops holding the Episcopatus without the novus ordo defect—does not beg for entry permits. She enters in nomine Domini. The suspension of these conciliar schools is a sign of the times: the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place (Matt 24:15), masquerading as “Christian education,” is being shaken by the very secular powers it sought to appease. Non praevalebunt—but not because of Israeli permits; because the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church which knows no master but Christ the King.
