The Pillar, a propaganda organ of the conciliar sect, publishes its weekly digest celebrating the latest maneuvers of the usurper Leo XIV (Robert Prevost) and his curia of Modernists. The piece revels in the “pope’s” refusal of French state honors, the retention of Rupnik’s sacrilegious mosaics at the Masonic shrine of Fatima, the revolutionary deposition of an Eastern patriarch under a novel motu proprio, the synodal democratization of Europe, the clamor for lay governance, the metastasis of the Synod Secretariat’s power, and the embedding of a “theologian” into the American security state. This tableau of institutional decay confirms the total apostasy of the structures occupying the Vatican.
The Theatrics of a Usurper: Feigned Humility Masking Revolutionary Authority
The article’s opening gambit praises the “pope’s” refusal of a military guard, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, a state banquet, and a Macron-guided tour of Notre Dame. Ed Condon speculates this reflects “Midwestern impatience with unnecessary pomp” or a desire to avoid “presidential photo-ops.” He contrasts this with John Paul II’s avoidance of Thatcher and Benedict XVI’s acceptance of full state honors in the UK.
It seems clear enough to me that Leo has always intended his brief swing through France as a pastoral visit by the chief shepherd of Christ’s flock, not a state visit by the Father of Princes and Kings.
This distinction between “pastoral visit” and “state visit” is a Modernist chimera. The true Vicar of Christ, by divine institution, is the Father of Princes and Kings. As Pius XI teaches in Quas Primas: “His reign encompasses not only Catholic nations… but His reign encompasses also all non-Christians, so that most truly the entire human race is subject to the authority of Jesus Christ.” The King of kings does not shed His crown to appease republican presidents. The refusal of honors is not humility but a calculated political signal: the neo-church accepts the secular order’s autonomy, renouncing the Social Kingship of Christ over nations. The Syllabus of Errors condemns the proposition that “The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church” (Error 55). By treating the Élysée as an equal partner in negotiating protocol, the usurper legitimizes the Masonic Republic’s claim to sovereignty independent of God.
Fatima and Rupnik: The Neo-Church’s Idolatry and Pederasty Enshrined
The article reports that the Fatima shrine refuses to remove Rupnik’s mosaics, with Portuguese prelates arguing art must be “judged distinctly from the man.” This is the quintessence of the conciliar sect’s moral bankruptcy.
With the prospect of a papal visit to Fátima next year, it is possible the shrine will face ongoing questions over the controversial mosaics, especially since this doesn’t seem to have been Pope Leo’s take on the whole affair.
First, Fatima is a Masonic psychological operation, as documented: “Symbolism of dates: 1717 (founding of Freemasonry), 1917 (apparitions), 2017 (canonization) – ritualistic 200-year cycles.” The “Miracle of the Sun” was “mass optical manipulation… and mass panic and autosuggestion.” The shrine is a temple of syncretism: “The name ‘Fatima’: a symbol of Christian-Islamic syncretism.” To preserve Rupnik’s work there — the output of a credibly accused predator, protected by the neo-church hierarchy — is to consecrate the union of false mysticism and clerical corruption. The separation of art from artist is a Liberal heresy; the Council of Trent teaches that sacred art must inspire piety and reflect the artist’s faith. A work born of mortal sin and sacrilege defiles the sanctuary. The neo-church’s retention of it proves its allegiance to the “abomination of desolation.”
Mutua Concordia: The Usurper’s Tyranny Over Eastern Churches
The Syriac Catholic Church’s move to depose Patriarch Ignace Youssif III Younan under the motu proprio Mutua concordia (August 29, 2026) exposes the revolutionary nature of the post-conciliar “canon law.” Condon admits: “I wrote at the time the new law came out that it looked a lot like clearing a path for increased Roman intervention in the leadership disputes of Eastern Churches.”
The senior bishop of the Eastern Church’s synod of bishops initiated the process for a vote to remove the patriarch… just days after Pope Leo XIV issued the motu proprio Mutua concordia, allowing for the prospect of Eastern Catholic bishops moving to remove their patriarchs.
This is not canonical reform but the imposition of a collegialist ecclesiology condemned by Pius XII and the entire pre-conciliar Magisterium. The true Church is a monarchy, not a parliamentary democracy. The patriarch’s authority derives from his communion with the true Roman Pontiff, not from a synod of bishops empowered by a usurper to depose him. The 1917 Code (Canon 188.4) provides that office is vacated by “public defection from the Catholic faith” ipso facto, not by a vote of subordinates. The neo-church invents procedures to engineer outcomes, violating Divina constitutio of the Church. As St. Robert Bellarmine teaches: “A manifest heretic… by that very fact ceases to be Pope and head.” The same principle applies to any prelate: heresy severs jurisdiction automatically. No “synodal process” is needed — only the profession of integral Faith.
Synodality: The Democratization of Apostasy
The Austrian symposium “Shaping Synodality in Europe” gathered 180 people, 29 bishops’ conferences, under the “Council of European Bishops’ Conferences” — a body with no divine institution. Condon notes “two competing visions: one emphasizing structural change and the overriding value of equality, and another seeing the process largely in terms of encouraging improved communication.”
These rival visions have some very different priorities and plans, and it is very much worth keeping an eye on what’s happening.
Both visions are heretical. “Equality” in the Church is a Masonic slogan; the Church is hierarchical by divine will (Lumen Gentium of the false council notwithstanding). “Communication between laity and hierarchy” as a governing principle inverts the order: the laity’s role is to obey and be sanctified, not to “dialogue” with their pastors. The Syllabus condemns: “The Church is not a true and perfect society… but it appertains to the civil power to define what are the rights of the Church” (Error 19). Synodality replaces the divine constitution with a democratic one, the “cult of man” denounced by Pius XI. The “roadmap” is a road to perdition.
Lay Governance: The Usurpation of Sacred Order
The Austrian Catholic Women’s Movement demands the bishops’ conference general secretary be a layperson, citing canon law’s silence on the requirement for Holy Orders. Condon notes this “phenomenon… is relatively new — and has a historical connection to the Church in the United States.”
The Austrian Catholic Women’s Movement noted that canon law does not require a bishops’ conference general secretary — who plays an administrative and coordinating role within a national bishops’ conference — to be a priest.
This is the clericalism of the laity condemned by St. Pius X: the laity’s duty is “to let themselves be led” by the hierarchy (Vehementer Nos). Bishops’ conferences themselves are a conciliar novelty, unknown to the 1917 Code, designed to erode episcopal responsibility and introduce collegiality. Appointing a layman to govern bishops administratively is the final inversion: the sheep shepherding the shepherds. It fulfills the Modernist program of Lamentabili Sane Exitu (Prop. 53): “The organic structure of the Church is subject to change… subject to continuous evolution.”
The Synod Secretariat: A Parallel Curia of Revolution
The meeting of bishops’ conference presidents and Eastern patriarchs on Amoris Laetitia — the apostasy that admits adulterers to “Communion” — is organized by the Secretariat of the Synod, not a dicastery. Condon calls this “a growing influence of the Secretariat of the Synod under Pope Leo… an interesting, and I think unexpected development.”
The now-leading role that the secretariat has taken on in preparing for the meeting is part of what seems to be a growing influence of the Secretariat of the Synod under Pope Leo.
This is the engine of the conciliar revolution: a permanent bureaucratic apparatus driving the “synodal process” — the implementation of Vatican II’s errors. Amoris Laetitia itself contradicts the Council of Trent (Canon 21 on the indissolubility of marriage) and the Syllabus (Error 67: “By the law of nature, the marriage tie is not indissoluble”). The Synod Secretariat is the de facto government of the neo-church, superseding the Roman Curia, answerable only to the usurper.
The Theologian in the Security State: Naturalism as Mission
A professor from the Catholic University of America (founded by Leo XIII, now a citadel of Modernism) takes a post at the Department of Homeland Security’s “Office for Partnership and Engagement” — immigration enforcement. Condon acknowledges bishops, the USCCB, and “Pope Leo XIV” have criticized these policies, yet sees “canonical nuance” in the appointment.
As a general principle, I think it wonderful that my alma mater Catholic U. makes faculty free to serve in government. The founding mandate of Pope Leo XIII was, after all, to give the republic her best citizens.
This is Americanism condemned by Leo XIII in Testem Benevolentiae: the confusion of Catholic duty with civic patriotism. The Church’s mission is salus animarum, not “cultural outreach” for a regime enforcing unjust immigration laws. Pius XI in Quas Primas declares: “When God and Jesus Christ… were removed from laws and states… the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” Collaboration with the secular power in its temporal coercion, while the hierarchy protests its morality, is hypocrisy and naturalism. The professor’s “leave of absence” from an “ecclesiastical faculty” — a faculty that teaches the novelties of the neo-church — only compounds the scandal. The true theologian belongs to the Church Militant, not the Department of Homeland Security.
Conclusion: The Neo-Church Is the Antichurch
Every item in this “Pillar Post” — the diplomatic theater, the idolatrous shrine, the revolutionary canon law, the synodal parliament, the lay usurpation, the bureaucratic metastasis, the state collaboration — manifests the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place (Matt. 24:15). The structures occupying the Vatican are not the Catholic Church but a paramasonic counterfeit, “the synagogue of Satan” (Apoc. 2:9) foretold by Pius IX. The true Church endures in the catacombs of Tradition, keeping the Faith of the Fathers, the Mass of Trent, and the Social Kingship of Christ. “You are Christ the King of glory!” — this acclamation, sung at the Nicaea centenary in 1925, is the only answer to the neo-church’s rebellion. Non praevalebunt.
