The National Catholic Register, the flagship organ of the EWTN media empire — itself a creature of the conciliar establishment — publishes a hagiographic report by Solène Tadié celebrating the September 2026 visit of the usurper “Pope” Leo XIV (Robert Prevost) to France. The article breathlessly chronicles massive crowds at the Stade de France and the Place de la Concorde, a purported “surge in adult baptisms,” and a “newfound Catholic pride” breaking the chains of laïcité. It quotes journalists, “influencers,” and converts hailing a “new Pentecost” and a “miracle” in Paris. This spectacle of emotionalism and naturalistic unity, however, is not the renovatio of the Church in the eldest daughter of the Church; it is the theater of the ecclesia maligna, a Masonic staging of the abomination of desolation (Matt. 24:15) designed to legitimize the paramasonic structure occupying the Vatican and to anesthetize the faithful into accepting a false head, a false liturgy, and a false faith.
The Usurper’s Theater: Mass Psychology Masquerading as the Kingdom of God
The report leads with the rhetoric of numbers: 800,000 at the Place de la Concorde, 80,000 at the Stade de France. Since when does the Church Militant measure its vitality by headcounts worthy of a political rally or a rock concert? The journalist Stéphane Bern, a promoter of “cultural heritage” devoid of the supernatural, asks: “Who, aside from the Pope, is capable of bringing together 600,000 people in France in 2026?” The answer is as obvious as it is damning: any demagogue, any false prophet, any agent of the synagogue of Satan (Apoc. 2:9) can gather crowds — witness the 1917 Fatima spectacle analyzed in the False Fatima Apparitions dossier, where “mass optical manipulation… mass panic and autosuggestion” were mistaken for the supernatural. The “enthusiasm” described — “peace, hope and joy,” “shouting our joy at loving Christ” — is the purely natural, horizontal solidarity of the cult of man, the very “plague… so-called laicism” condemned by Pius XI in Quas Primas, now wearing a mitre.
The article notes the mixing of “Traditional chants in Latin mingled with charismatic praise and worship.” This liturgical Babel is the lex orandi of the neo-church: a deliberate syncretism where the immutable Roman Rite is reduced to one “spiritual sensitivity” among others, equal to the charismatic delirium of Protestant sects. Lex orandi, lex credendi (the law of praying is the law of believing). This chaotic mixing proves the doctrinal indifferentism at the heart of the conciliar sect. It is the fulfillment of the Modernist proposition condemned by St. Pius X in Lamentabili Sane Exitu (Prop. 53): “The organic structure of the Church is subject to change, and the Christian community, like the human community, is subject to continuous evolution.” The “vigil” at the Stade de France was not a Catholic act of worship; it was a syncretic assembly presided over by a manifest heretic.
Laïcité and the “Public Square”: The Triumph of Naturalism over the Kingship of Christ
The article frames the visit as a victory over French laïcité: “Catholicism in France being brought into the public square.” This phraseology reveals the naturalistic, Modernist ecclesiology driving the neo-church. Pius XI, in Quas Primas, teaches that “Peace is only possible in the kingdom of Christ” and that “When God and Jesus Christ… were removed from laws and states and when authority was derived not from God but from men, the foundations of that authority were destroyed.” The “public square” of the French Republic is a Masonic construct, born of the 1789 Revolution, explicitly condemned by the Syllabus of Errors (Props. 39, 55, 77, 80): “The State… is endowed with a certain right not circumscribed by any limits” (Prop. 39); “The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church” (Prop. 55); “The Roman Pontiff can, and ought to, reconcile himself, and come to terms with progress, liberalism and modern civilization” (Prop. 80).
The antipope’s “triumphal” entry into this Masonic space, welcomed by politicians and journalists who “had never professed any Christian faith,” is not the Social Kingship of Christ; it is the capitulation of the conciliar sect to the Civilta dell’Uomo. The “unity” and “solidarity” celebrated by the Japanese journalist Susumu Sakamoto and the French media are the fraternité of the Lodge, not the unitas fidei of the Church. The report explicitly states the visit fostered “a sense of national unity” — the Masonic ideal of the “Great Architect” replacing the Unum Corpus in Christo. This is the opus of the “ecumenism project” denounced in the False Fatima dossier: “The imprecise formulation ‘conversion of Russia’ (without specifying Catholicism) opens the way to religious relativism. It can serve to legitimize dialogue with schismatic Orthodoxy.” Here, the “conversion of France” is proclaimed without the integral Catholic Faith, legitimizing the Republic that guillotined the Martyrs of Compiègne and expelled the religious orders.
The “New Pentecost” of the Conciliar Sect: Charismatic Delusion and the Evolution of Dogma
Julien Dodeman speaks of a “new Pentecost” and the need to “come down from the mountain” to “meet the world.” This language — “new Pentecost,” “springtime of the Church,” “going out to the peripheries” — is the prophetic vocabulary of the Modernist revolution, inaugurated by the antipope John XXIII and canonized by the “canonizations” of the usurpers. St. Pius X condemned the root of this in Lamentabili (Prop. 59): “Christ did not proclaim any specific, all-encompassing doctrine suitable for all times and peoples, but rather initiated a certain religious movement, applied or applicable to different times and places.” The “faith” described by the convert Paul Criner — “Christ as the ultimate model of masculinity and a path to healing for a generation of men lacking strong father figures” — is pure Modernist vitalism (Prop. 22: “The dogmas which the Church proposes as revealed are not truths of divine origin but are a certain interpretation of religious facts…”; Prop. 25: “Faith, as assent of the mind, is ultimately based on a sum of probabilities.”).
This is not the fides qua creditur (the faith by which we believe), which is a supernatural virtue infused by God, “whereby we believe to be true what He has revealed” (Vatican I, Dei Filius, DS 3008). It is a psychological crutch, a “model of masculinity,” a therapy for fatherless men. The article admits: “This is no longer simply a faith inherited through tradition, but a faith freely embraced.” This subjectivist “conversion experience” is the hallmark of Protestantism and the nouvelle théologie, denying the objective necessity of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church for salvation (Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus). The “baptisms” cited are likely administered in the invalid new rite (promulgated by the antipope Paul VI), by “priests” ordained in the invalid new rite of ordination (1968), rendering the sacraments doubtful at best, null at worst. A “revival” built on invalid sacraments and a false hierarchy is a diabolical mimicry of life — a spiritual Potemkin village.
The Sedevacantist Verdict: The Automatic Loss of Office and the Nullity of the Neo-Church
The entire edifice of this “revival” rests on the recognition of Robert Prevost as “Vicar of Christ,” “Holy Father,” “Pope.” From the perspective of integral Catholic theology — the theology of St. Robert Bellarmine, of Canon 188.4 of the 1917 Code, of Pope Paul IV’s Cum ex Apostolatus Officio — this recognition is the fundamental error.
As the Defense of Sedevacantism dossier demonstrates conclusively: “A Pope-manifest heretic loses his office automatically.” St. Robert Bellarmine teaches: “A manifest heretic… by that very fact ceases to be Pope and head, just as he ceases to be a Christian and member of the body of the Church.” The “popes” of the conciliar sect (John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, Francis, Leo XIV) are manifest heretics by their public profession of the errors of Vatican II: religious liberty (Dignitatis Humanae), ecumenism (Unitatis Redintegratio), collegiality, the new Mass, the new rites of ordination. They have “publicly defected from the Catholic faith” (Canon 188.4). Cum ex Apostolatus Officio declares their “promotion or elevation… null, void, and of no effect” “prior to his promotion… has defected from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy.”
Therefore, the man in white robes at Lourdes, at the Stade de France, at Notre-Dame is not the Pope. He is a layman (at best) or a validly ordained priest (if ordained pre-1968) who has usurped the See of Peter. The “bishops” surrounding him are, in the vast majority, men consecrated in the invalid Paul VI rite of episcopal consecration, lacking the sacramental character and jurisdiction. The “Mass” celebrated at the Place de la Concorde was a simulated sacrifice, a “table of assembly” violating the theology of the propitiatory Sacrifice of Calvary, offered by a false hierarchy to a false god — the idol of the “conciliar church.”
The crowds — 800,000 strong — are worshiping the creature rather than the Creator (Rom. 1:25). They are rendering latria (adoration due to God alone) or at minimum dulia (veneration due to saints) to a usurper, treating his blessing as efficacious, his person as the center of unity. This is idolatry on a national scale. The “miracle” Rod Dreher perceives is the signa mendacia (lying signs) foretold for the time of Antichrist (2 Thess. 2:9): “whose coming is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders.”
The “Digital Continent” and the Propaganda of the Antichrist
The article highlights the role of “Catholic influencers” — “Christatus,” “Cathoglad,” “Un Homme Catholique” — and a gathering at Saint-Sulpice with 2,500 physical attendees and “100,000 more followed the event online.” This is the technocratic apparatus of the paramasonic structure. The “digital continent” is the new Areopagus where the novelties of the Modernist synthesis are disseminated under the guise of “evangelization.” The reference to Fulton Sheen and Charlie Kirk by “Un Homme Catholique” exposes the Americanist, liberal, political orientation of this “revival” — a civic Catholicism tailored for the Right-wing of the Masonic dialectic, diametrically opposed to the Integralism of Pius IX, Leo XIII, St. Pius X, and Pius XI.
The “missionaries” speak of “bringing this drive for evangelization to everyone.” But what Gospel do they preach? The Gospel of the novus ordo? The Gospel of “fraternity” without paternity (God the Father)? The Gospel of “dialogue” that refuses to condemn error? The article is tellingly silent on the supernatural: no mention of the State of Grace, Mortal Sin, Hell, Purgatory, the Immaculate Conception, the Assumption, the Sacrifice of the Mass, the Papacy as defined by Vatican I (Pastor Aeternus). Silence about supernatural matters is the gravest accusation. It confirms the analysis of the False Fatima dossier: “The message focuses on external threats (communism), omitting the main danger: modernist apostasy within the Church.” Today, the “external threat” is “secularization” or “Islam” or “AI,” and the “remedy” is the very neo-church that embodies the apostasy.
France: The Eldest Daughter Prostituted to the Stranger
The convert Criner calls France “the eldest daughter of the Church” with “an important role to play.” France was the eldest daughter of the Church. Since 1789, and definitively since the 1905 Law of Separation, she has been the eldest daughter of the Revolution, the prima filia of the Masonic Republic. The “revival” celebrated here is the reconciliation of the neo-church with the Revolution. The antipope blesses the Republic; the Republic applauds the antipope. “He who gives the Kingdom of Heaven does not take away earthly things!” (Pius XI, Quas Primas, citing the hymn Crudelis Herodes). But the neo-church surrenders the Kingdom of Heaven to manage the “earthly things” of the Republic.
The true Catholics of France — the remanens (the remnant) — are not in the Place de la Concorde acclaiming the usurper. They are in the catacombs, assisting at the true Mass of the Ages offered by bishops and priests who have kept the integral Faith, the tradition of the Apostles, the Sede Vacante position. They know that “the gates of hell shall not prevail” (Matt. 16:18) against the true Church, but they also know that the visible structures occupying the Vatican are the “abomination of desolation standing in the holy place” (Matt. 24:15).
Conclusion: Flee the Whore of Babylon
The article by Solène Tadié is a masterpiece of diabolical disinformation. It takes the externals of Catholicism — crowds, vestments, chants, Rosaries, the name “Pope” — and drapes them over the rotting corpse of the conciliar sect. It invites the faithful to spiritual suicide by communion with manifest heretics and participation in invalid rites.
Let no one be deceived by the “joy,” the “hope,” the “unity,” or the numbers. “Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 7:21). The will of the Father is unity in the Truth, not unity in error; worship in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24), not idolatry of a false pontiff.
The “beginning” Criner speaks of is the beginning of the final great apostasy, the mysterium iniquitatis reaching its zenith. “Watch ye therefore, and pray at all times, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are to come, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:36). Flee the neo-church. Cleave to the Tradition. Recognize the Sede Vacante. Save your souls.
